- Minus my unfortunate miscalculation in a distance section of the map today was one of the best rides of the trip bar none
- Right off the hop it was a 25 minute climb out of the gorge going through forest after forest of rolling terrain
- Overall there were 4 gorges to contend with on today's schedule and none of the them disappointed. Probably overall the most elevation gain in a single day
- Blue skies and temps hovering around 27 or so
- As I badly miscalculated I finished today with no food and no prospect of food due to my crappy camp location. First time I think I've ever drempt of food ...
- Today would have been an awesome day for light road bikes and a good group ride. So many good roads to choose from!
